About

Thomas Elias Siddall is a doctoral student in the Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore, where their research examines cultural spaces in Taiwan through a queer theoretical lens. Drawing on four years of living and fieldwork experience in Taiwan, their work engages questions of labour, placemaking, and care. Their writing has appeared in Cultural Geographies and Inter-Asia Cultural Studies. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed a Master of Arts in Geography at the University of Toronto.

Thomas is presently based in Singapore and Taipei.

Thomas Elias Siddall (劉夢飛)為新加坡國立大學地理系博士生。其研究透過酷兒理論與解殖民視角,探討台灣的藝文空間。憑藉在台灣四年居住與田野調查的經驗,其研究關注勞動、地方營造(placemaking)與關照(care)等課題。其學術論著曾發表於《Cultural Geographies》與《Inter-Asia Cultural Studies》等期刊。在攻讀博士學位前,其於多倫多大學取得地理學碩士學位。

Thomas 目前往返於新加坡與台北兩地。
